Forza Horizon 4 – Series 35
Published May 6, 2021On May 6th a new update will be released for Forza Horizon 4. This will be the 35th series for the award winning racing game.
The next series of Forza Horizon 4 will be going live in just a few days. Surprisingly specific details are somewhat limited, but we will cover in-depth what can be confirmed.
First, it appears that there will be at least 3 new hard-to-find cars added to the Festival Playlist rewards. The game developers teased this new series last week with a tweet of some cryptic drawings that some people interpreted as indicating that there would be 5 new cars, but it appears not actually to be the case.
Starting with the Summer Season (May 6 – 13), the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is a new event reward for the “Are You Not Entertained?” Season Event. The Gladiator is based on the Wrangler, and upon its release in 2019, it was Jeep’s first pickup since the discontinuation of the Jeep Comanche in 1992. Other vehicles that can be earned during the first season will be the 1955 Porsche 550A Spyder for the “Fun-Sized” Trial reward; the 2013 Renault Clio R.S. 16 Concept as the reward for the “Summer Games” Seasonal Playground Games; the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale as the reward for the “Classic Rally Rumble” Season Event, and the 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Open Top for the “Out For The Count” Season Event reward.
The Autumn Season (May 13 – 20) does not appear to have any new vehicles added to it. For the 80% unlock completion reward, players will receive the 2009 Lexus IS F. The 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo, 2010 Pagani Zonda R, 1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen, 2014 Local Motors Rally Fighter, and 1999 Ford Racing Puma can all be earned as Event rewards.
The players should consider themselves lucky that a beautiful French ‘70s classic, the Citroen DS23, will be added to the game as the 50% unlock completion bonus for the Winter Season (May 20 – 27). The retro-futuristic design, innovative technology, and excellent ride quality, handling, and braking made this a very successful and desirable vehicle. In most vehicles, hydraulics are only used in the brakes and power steering, so one thing that made the Citroen DS23 unique compared to other vehicles is that the hydraulic system was also used in the suspension, clutch, and transmission. This, along with a self-leveling suspension system, made the DS23 a very relaxing and smooth ride. Other rewards you can earn in the Winter Season include the 2015 Lexus RC F as the 80% unlock completion reward, along with 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, 723 Quartz Regalia Type-D, the 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R, the 1972 Land Rover Series III Forza Edition, and the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe Forza Edition all as Event rewards.
Returning to Forza Horizon 4 is the luxurious grand tourer, 1993 Porsche 928 GTS, as the 50% unlock completion bonus for the Spring Season (May 27 – June 6). The 80% unlock completion reward is the 2013 Toyota GT86. The Event rewards for the Spring Season will include the 1970 Ferrari 512 S, the 1993 Ford SVT Cobra R, the 1991 Peugeot 205 Rallye, and the 2015 Alumi Craft Class 10 Race Car Forza Edition.
Forza Horizon 4 is one of the best racing games on the market, with stunning reviews and consistently high scores. As of last fall, at least 24 million gamers have played this game. It is a Microsoft exclusive title, currently available only for Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
