Adopt Me! is an online massively multiplayer game that was originally developed by Uplift Games. It was created on the gaming platform Roblox, and the initial idea behind the game was for players to adopt children or act as the child being adopted. However, as time passed on, the game shifted to become what it is today, where you adopt and look after your own virtual pet. These pets come in all shapes and sizes, with almost any creature you could imagine available to adopt today. You can trade your pets with other players and have so much fun along the way playing this game.

By March 2021, the game had been played an incredible 20 billion times, yet the studio only employs about 40 people to work on the game. Earning a whopping 50 million dollars a year from the microtransactions that take place on the game, it’s certainly been a very successful venture for the company. It’s known as being one of the most popular games on Roblox, and its success doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.
